
On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at approximately 2:49 p.m., officers from the Paso Robles Police Department responded to Wells Fargo Bank, located in the 500 block of Spring Street, following a report of a bank robbery.
The preliminary investigation determined that an unknown adult male entered the bank and verbally claimed to be armed with a firearm while demanding money from a bank employee.
Although the suspect stated he had a firearm, no weapon was displayed during the incident.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the bank on foot, traveling northbound on Spring Street. The suspect was initially described as a Hispanic male adult wearing a light blue and white baseball-style hat, facial tattoos, a dark-colored bandana around his neck, a high-visibility yellow long-sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.
Bank surveillance video captured the incident and provided investigators with clear images of the suspect. Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Ernesto Noriega Cisneros.
Detectives are actively attempting to locate Ernesto Noriega Cisneros, who is wanted for questioning in connection with this investigation.
