
PASO ROBLES, CA – On Friday, May 8, at approximately 4:04 p.m., Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services were dispatched to Highway 101 and Highway 46 West for a reported vehicle fire.
The first arriving unit reported a passenger vehicle heavily involved with a threat to the adjacent vegetation and requested additional resources. Crews were able to quickly stop forward progress of the fire into the vegetation and extinguish the vehicle fire.
Two fire engines and one Chief Officer from Paso Robles responded. Under the city’s Mutual Aid Agreement, one fire engine from Cal Fire/SLO County Fire responded and one fire engine from Templeton Fire Department responded. California Highway Patrol and Paso Robles Police Department also responded to the incident.
