PASO ROBLES, CA – Active shooter and rapid response incidents are increasing across the United States. To stay prepared for these types of events, the Paso Robles Fire Department and Paso Robles Police Department will be conducting rapid response and active shooter training exercises on October 7th 2025 and October 9th 2025, Residents living or visiting the area of the old Georgia Brown campus (525 36th St) should not be alarmed by the increased presence of law enforcement and fire personnel.

Both departments are committed to the safety and well-being of all community members. This training is one in a series of rapid response exercises that will be conducted in the upcoming months.
