PASO ROBLES, CA – August 1, 2025 – At approximately 2:13 PM on Friday, Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services responded to a reported vegetation fire at 3200 Sulfur Springs Road, located in the Salinas Riverbed area.

First-arriving units were on scene within three minutes and reported an active fire burning approximately a quarter acre of vegetation. Paso Robles Fire deployed three engines and one battalion chief to the incident.

In accordance with the City’s automatic aid agreement, additional resources were dispatched, including four engines, a battalion chief, a deputy chief, a bulldozer, and a water tender from CAL FIRE/San Luis Obispo County. tascadero Fire also responded with one engine, and the Paso Robles Polic epartment assisted with scene coordinatio

Thanks to the swift and coordinated response, 35 personnel on scene were abl o contain the fire by approximately 2:35 PM

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
