PASO ROBLES, CA -The Paso Robles Police Department is pleased to announce the newest member to its patrol force: Police K9 “Griff”. Officer Stephen Lugo has been selected to be the K9 handler, and both he and K9 Griff just completed a 5-week K9 Patrol School and K9 Narcotics Detection School. K9 Griff is a 15-month-old German Shepherd, imported from Serbia by our vendor kennel located in Ventura. K9 Griff has been trained and POST certified for handler protection, apprehension, searching and narcotics detection.

Officer Lugo and K9 Griff will be on duty this Friday, 03-07-25 starting at 4:00pm.
