
Paso Robles, CA, February 7, 2024 – The City of Paso Robles has temporarily paused downtown paid parking and associated enforcement effective February 7, 2024.
The pause to the program is to ensure compliance with the City’s parking ordinance 12.42 and associated laws and/or regulations. The legal review and findings, once complete, will be discussed at an open session of the Council.
During the legal review period, the City Council has suspended paid on-street parking and associated enforcement. City staff is working to make the necessary adjustments to the mobile app and kiosks to ensure users are not remitting payment for parking during this time.
The City expects the review to be completed and scheduled for presentation at the City Council meeting on February 20, 2024. During the review period and program’s pause, parking staff will be working diligently to ensure parking program changes directed by Council on November 21, 2023, are ready for rapid implementation.
